Kate and I had a blast putting together all of the cute little touches for our sister's baby shower a couple of weeks ago and couldn't wait to share the final pics with you. We went a little overboard with the theme, but our sister was so surprised and thrilled with all of the fussing! My favorite part was the two color letterpress in coral and pool invitation that we created just for her, though I think the mom-to-be's were all of the clear balloon that looked like bubbles, including the giant ones that were three feet wide! Now, we just need to be patient for another few days until this baby gets here! Congrats to Ash & Darryl on the little miss!

Alright, not to pick favorites, but we do have a certain client that we just LOVE to design things for and we've done a ton of it for her! From her wedding invitations to moving cards to more stationery than I can ever imagine writing thank yous on (and she has!) to baby announcements, we've done it all! Our latest project for a very dapper little gentleman was all about lions and tigers and bears... oh my! The circus (with teens dressed in animal costumes) rolled into Georgetown to celebrate our friend's first birthday in style and no detail was overlooked at this fiesta that was as much fun for the adults as it was for the kids! We love all of the thoughtful details that were put into every aspect of the party and had so much fun, as usual, helping our friend with this one! Baby Announcements au Natural
In honor of a certain someone's first birthday today (we CAN'T WAIT to show you the circus-themed party we've been working on) we are finally sharing the beautiful baby room our dear friend Nancy Margaret prepared when her first born was on the way. Working with neutrals between taupe and dove gray, we letterpressed these oh-so-soft announcements with a chevron pattern frame for them to share the news with their loved ones! 
A Tinkerbell 2 Birthday!
We recently celebrated little Etta's 2nd birthday with a fabulous Tinkerbell 2 birthday party! Designed with a two year old in mind we focused on whimsical glitz, pops of color, and a beautiful vintage 'E' design. All this mixed to create the perfect look for our true fairy princess who, as you can see, thrilled guests by making a special appearance!
Hot off the Press: Silver Foil Holiday Suite
Nothing like saving the best for last! I've been waiting for weeks to share this last holiday card suite with you. We created this for one of Haute Papier's dearest friends and long time client, Nancy Margaret. She wanted a big "wow" factor this year since the birth of her and her husband's first child happened in 2011 and she had the most adorable photograph to share with friends and family. We still can't figure out how they got all three dogs and the baby to sit still for this great shot by Jennifer Anderson Photography (once our neighbor in Leesburg!). The cards were printed on Crane's 220# lettra (so luxurious!) with red letterpress and silver foil stamping on both the front and back. The envelopes were the perfect shimmery red with silver foiled snowflakes falling on both the flap and front of the envelope... and we couldn't have a suite this great without custom stamps as a final touch! Thank you to The Adlers for giving us the creative liberty, as always, to put this wintery delight together for you!
