We just love seeing pictures from Real Weddings featuring Haute Papier’s products and think Laura & Martin’s wedding came together in such a lovely way!

We’re in love with Seagram’s new branding! Coca-Cola recently updated the iconic ginger ales and mixers to reflect a more contemporary and sophisticated look! We love the modern logo and the use of the classic crest throughout the packaging. Check out more of the awesome packaging here!

1… Mom’s own stationery wardrobe.  Specifically from Haute Papier’s letterpress and foil Bold & Beautiful collection.  The mix and match options are just too much to handle (in a good way of course)!!  2… A stunning bouquet.  We love all the inspiration we get these days from Pinterest and our local floral friends.  It’s easy enough to grab unique silver bowl or vase at a estate or yard sale and fill it with a one-of-a-kind-touch-the-heart bouquet.  I’m not sure if she does individual bouquets or just events, but for a drop-dead gorgeous bouquet that you don’t have to assemble, give our friend Holly of Holly Heider Chapple Flowers a call to see if she can put something stunning together for you!  Give her enough notice – this super mom deserves a ton of time off around this sacred holiday!  3… Photo books!  We love the photo books at My Publisher.  And they often have a give one-get one special.  I call that a win win!  4… Dinner for a week.  I’m a busy mom and dinner time can be quite hectic, but who says a few ready-to-go freezer meals or stocking the fridge full of family faves isn’t a good option for that special mom in your life?  Think about all the meals she’s put together for you over the years.  Why not let her take a week off dinner duty!  5… A professional house cleaning.  No explanation needed!

Come celebrate springtime with the ladies of Haute Papier this weekend at the Landon Azalea Garden Festival! The festival runs May 4th, 5th and 6th from 10am to 5pm.  All proceeds from the Festival support Student Financial Assistance and Faculty Enrichment programs at Landon! I was so excited to hear that Pantone recently added 336 new colors as part of its Plus Series! Here at Haute Papier, we’re constantly pulling out our handy dandy Pantone guide to pick out new colors, mix inks, and letterpress colorful creations! Sweet Paper in La Jolla, California is a fresh, fun and cheery atmosphere. The Ladies of Sweet Paper are availabe to thier clients for appointments and providing opinion on anything paper! The shop looks wonderful and after Sarah and Erin visited them in Feburary, I just had to find out more!! I was delighted to ask Theresa more questions.

How many years have you been in business? 1.5 years

Do you have a website, if so, what’s the address? Yes, we have a website that features our blog – www.sweet-paper.com

If you were to sell something other than stationery, what would it be? Theresa would sell vintage, upcycled furniture and home goods.  Julie would like to sell jewelry if she was not in the stationery business.

Besides the obvious (stationery), what is your favorite thing to give as a hostess gift? Theresa loves Haute Papier Coaster sets as a hostess gift, but since that could be considered stationery. The runner up would be Cake Kitchen Papers, decorative serving papers and placemats. Julie enjoys giving candles as a hostess gift. My favorite is glassy baby (http://www.glassybaby.com) and since each one is unique- you are never giving the same gift twice!

Here at Haute Papier, we love to eat!  When in NYC for the National Stationery Show, where is your favorite place to grab dinner? There are so many delicious options! Cafeteria for comfort food after a long day of walking the show is a great choice. Cafe Habana has Mexican style corn and chilaquiles.  But our absolute favorite is letting local friends and family lead the way, we always end up someplace new and the food is always amazing!

Any other tidbits about your store you’d like to share? We have Champagne Saturday every week- we pour free champagne for all our guests and usually have some little treat to go with it. It makes for a really fun atmosphere in the shop!

Our girls admire new and creative packaging ideas for all the orders flying out the door!  We just love taking the time to create beautiful bows to match the lovely stationery our customers are receiving.  That’s why when we saw this latest from packaging knot “how-to” from Craftzine we just had to share.  It is too cool … and will be adorning a few of our silk boxes soon!!
